We ran this competition in 2015/16 to get a better picture of what Iranians and some non-Iranians
with an Iranian connection consider as our values. What did being Iranian mean to them specifically?
The responses, stories and quality of photos were overwhelming! 240 people from all over the world participated with nearly 700 photos, of which the top 50 were selected by a jury and compiled in a photography book titled Being Iranian.
We are proud to share our three winners with you:
1. “Family /My Home” by Sajjad Khatabi
2. “The Harvest” by Hadi Dehghanpour
3. “Jin’s Hill” by Seyed Ali Miremadi
